The goal of Velocity Chess was to create a platform that would enable players from around the world to play blitz chess games with each other. Using social networking tools, tutoring tools, and gamification mechanics, the application aimed to be a chess hub.

- Unmanageable low bandwidth while playing.
- Due to the fact that many people play chess on the go, the app hasn’t been designed for smartphones.
